• Day 107: Monday April 16th

Last night we chilled out before sleeping extremely well on super thick comfy mattresses, though the large fans included turned off after only a couple of hours so it was like a sauna during the night.  I had a coffee, which took ages to make, though a delicious cheap bakery soon changed that by adding a donut, pizza and chicken croissant thing to my breakfast.

We then went exploring the town while doing some shopping.  We all chowed down on some ice-cream before shortly eating at a perfect beach side restaurant, where we discovered simply incredibly mango daiquiris.  After a stop at the hostel we hit the beach to relax.

The girls met their spouse, a "17 year old" (~14 year old) boy which soon led to one of the girls being buried in the sand as a mermaid (Sireña), meanwhile a couple were making out on the beach putting on a gross display.  Two of us went back to the hostel whilst the original Canadian girl and I went for a walkabout with a mission to find her these certain flip-flops (Chinillas), where we came across the Crazy Crab Beach Club (which we unfortunately missed out on) and passed some interesting bodies and dogs laying about in the street.

Eventually we all met back at the hostel to relax however it shortly turned into a game of advanced snap with use of vodka and playing with one of the hostel owners, who became a bartender.

CFB almost slept in our room, such a sweet cat (and I am a dog person).  One of the Canadian girls called quits at around midnight, the other can be seen dancing behind the bar in this video, while the rest of us kept playing till around 3am, simply due to a lot of funny conversations leading from a game of never have I ever… and the atmosphere in the courtyard of this club-type hostel where we sat chilled out in hammocks.
